I was referred to Veronica Garner at this location for my autism diagnosis. Scheduling was quick and I was able to book an appointment within a few weeks of first contact. I was told the initial appointment normally lasts about two hours.My first session wound up lasting under 90 minutes. The provider seemed rushed and unaware that auditory processing issues are often present in autistic people. My follow up appointment was also rushed. I felt like I was being assessed like a lab rat, just checking off things on a list, rather than having a conversation about my 30+ years of symptoms and struggles.I was told I would receive my documentation for work purposes within two days. I did not receive them for 4 weeks, after sending several reminders. When I did receive it, it was riddled with typos and sentence fragments.TLDR: Affordable and accessible with insurance, but slow documentation and provider needs to reassess her workload and approach.

Whitney has been monumental in my journey of health and wellness. I cannot say enough good things about this practice in Hyde Park!
